FAQs

1. Where did Tools → Accounts go?
It is replaced by the Credentials module in the left navigation panel. Your existing credentials were moved there.

2. Can I change a Personal credential to Shared?
No. The type is fixed when you create it. Create a new Shared credential instead.

3. Can other people see my Personal credentials?
No. Only you can see and use them.

4. Can a Tenant Admin see my Personal credentials?
No. Personal credentials are visible only to their owner, whatever the other user's policy.

5. Why can't I create a Shared credential?
Your policy doesn't allow it. Ask your Workspace or Tenant Admin.

6. As a GenAI Consumer, can I use a Shared credential?
Yes, in any asset whose workspace is mapped to that credential. You see only its metadata, not its sensitive details.

7. Who can edit or delete a Shared credential?
Only the credential's owner or an Admin.

8. Why can't I see a Shared credential my colleague created?
It isn't mapped to your workspace. Ask the owner or an Admin to map it.

9. Can anyone see the full API key or token?
No. Sensitive fields are always masked for every policy.

10. What is the difference between a credential and a Registered Service?
A Registered Service is the OAuth app, set up once for everyone. A credential in the Personal or Shared tab is your own sign-in through that app.

11. Can I see the Client Secret of a registered service?
No. Nobody can see the Client Secret after it is saved, and the Client ID is masked.

12. I don't see Edit or Delete on a registered service. Why?
Only the service Owner, Tenant Admins and Workspace Admins can edit or delete a service.

13. What happens to users' connections if the Client ID or Client Secret of a registered service changes?
Existing connections may stop working, and users may need to reconnect. The platform warns you before you save.
